Burek


If sweet desserts aren't your thing, then why not try our awesome savory Burek recipe. This eastern European powerhouse treat pairs well with most dinners cooked in Bessemer cookware!


Ingredients

  • 300g Ricotta
  • 500g Australian Fetta
  • 6 eggs
  • ½ cup soda water
  • 1 packet filo pastry
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 300g thickened cream
  • Pepper

Method

  1. Mix feta cheese, eggs, soda water, ricotta, cream and pepper in a bowl
  2. Brush the Multi pan with oil, pick up filo pastry and scrunch into wet mixture and place in baking dish until all filo sheets are used
  3. Cook on low heat for approximately 25 minutes or until brown, turn Burek onto a plate and slide uncooked side back into pan
  4. Cook for a further 10 minutes to brown
