Get cosy with this classic homemade Mulled Wine recipe. It's incredibly easy to make and will fill your home with a deliciously warm fragrance.
- 500mls red wine
- 1 orange sliced
- ½ cup frozen cranberries thawed
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- Cardamom pods
- 2 tbs sugar
- (Cloves and star anise can be added for extra spice)
- Combine orange slices, sugar, spices and one cup of water in 24cm Bessemer black multi saucepan. Simmer over a low heat until all the sugar is dissolved.
- Add wine and heat with fruit and spice mix until hot. Strain the mix into a jug, pour into glasses and garnish with orange slices.
