WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BLACK FRIDAY AND CYBER MONDAY?
In the past, Black Friday was a shopping event that took place in America on the first Friday after Thanksgiving. The largest discounts ever offered during a Black Friday sale caused a stir throughout the day. However, Black Friday has gained worldwide traction in recent years due to the surge in online shopping, and Australia has fully embraced the Black Friday madness.
The main distinction between Cyber Monday and Black Friday was that, previously, Cyber Monday was exclusively available online, whereas Black Friday was only available for in-store purchases. But in recent years, these occasions have expanded to include online and in-store purchasing, combining into a single, enormous week-long shopping event. Cyber Monday is December 1st, while Black Friday is November 28th in 2025.
